Born in Legnano on 16th August 1958. Efrem Raimondi’s work ranges between the “hallucination” of Polaroids and the “false truth” of the large format, without privileges for places, persons or objects. In the past few years, he was invited to present his work in public and private institutions, among which the Triennale, Milan 2015 (La fotografia non esiste) and the MAXXI of Rome 2017 (Presente imperfetto). He exhibited his work in public and private spaces, including the Triennale di Milano, Centro della Fotografia d’Autore in Bibbiena, Il Diaframma, Centro per l’Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci, Museo Internazionale e Biblioteca della Musica, Accademia Carrara Galleria d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea. La mia famiglia has been his latest exhibition, in Parma, in the spaces of BDC28. His work has been published on several journals, among which PM, GQ It, GQ America, Vanity Fair It, Rolling Stone It, Capital, Stern, Abitare, INTERNI magazine, NOVA, Vogue Pelle, Domus, GAP. Besides, he took part in several collaborations with companies such as: Cassina, Trussardi, Prada, IBM, Campeggi srl, Studio Italo Lupi, Dainese, B Communications, McCann Erikson. Since 2017, he teaches at the Istituto Raffles in Milan. In 2018, he founded ISOZERO Lab, a photo lab unmatched in the Italian scene. He is member of the AFIP committee.
