Born Milan in 1986, Lorenzo Martelli belongs to a generation of photographers who are aware that they are influenced by their experience of the virtual dimension, the experience of one who no longer lives only in time and only in real places. As a consequence his work is not anchored to a precise narrative dimension. His images are interior itineraries with a completely autonomous life and they ask those who observe to look freely with no preconceived narratives. He publishes in magazines and books and his works have been exhibited in galleries and museums. On commission deals with visual storytelling for companies and institutions.
