Walking in different cities and towns in Israel and Palestine, you enter in completely different universes in a distance of a few feet.
Nowhere else in the world I’ve seen a so varied population each one messenger of own traditions. Each of these cultural microcosms experience is a completely different life.
I focused my photographic research on the definition of “space”. I am not able and I’m not going into the political and religious issues. My work is just a consideration on living space of every single person.
The living space is a symbolic space in which the person lives his life, he chooses how to behave and which choices make. Everything about his identity is addressed in this space.
If you cross the living space border you are invading the freedom of the others.
During my trip I strongly felt the interweaving of these spaces, despite the physical and imaginary lines that divide the surface of this territory.
