Italian visual artist, photographer, and director Yuri Catania is renowned for his sensitive and creative approach to photography and videography. His work displays a range of emotions in fashion, portrait, street photography, and documentary. He catches a deep vision, classical and pop telling a contemporary conversation around people, sexuality, and places with his eye. Yuri Catania’s photographs have been featured worldwide in advertising campaigns and editorials in the fashion’s industry. His deepest photographer’s satisfaction and emotions comes from his personal project called “NO FASHION PLACES” that is an inner path, an intimate research that catches hidden feelings among the particulars, a keen look that captures the great messages of small things, far from the refined luxury sparkle. He published three books: No Fashion Places of America vol. I (2016), Marfa Marfa Marfa (2018), Mother Road (2019). In 2018-2019 he showed his most significant solo exhibition (300 photos about America) at Candiani Venezia in Italy. His work has been exhibited at Palais de Tokyo in Paris 2013, Photo Schweiz 2016, Galerie Perrotin Paris 2016, Mia Fair Milan 2016, Mia Fair Milano 2017, Officine Fotografiche Milano 2017, Leica Galerie Milano 2018, Spazio Big Santa Marta withRefugees UNHCR 2017
