“Where am I? I feel like I am nowhere”

Nostalgia is the acute desire of returning to live in a place that was the usual home and which is now far away.

These images are the search for “paesi/countries” born from memory through a dreamlike and metaphysically plastic representation of the world and its volumes, out of time and new to us but for some reason familiar.

Idealised over time by what we feel and who we are, the world is shaped by our memories: these are newly created “countries”, not real but yet so intimate. It’s my own intimate representation of “Home”
